I believe what you said made a ton of sense. But, think about this, what if you added a little content? I mean, I don't wish to tell you how to run your website, but suppose you added a post title that grabbed folk's attention? I mean is a little vanilla. You could look at Yahoo's home page and note how they create article titles to get people to click. You might add a related video or a related picture or two to get readers interested about everything've written. Just my opinion, it might make your posts a little livelier.
